Dead?

I'm not, although the blacked out name may have indicated that, but ever since the domain changed, it seems that the participation has declined immensely. Now I must admit that I am a key player in this decrease, but certainly it is not only me who is slacking.

Should anything be read into this? Well, I haven't talked to most people on this site in a long time, and although we did do some quality hanging this summer, I have yet to really talk to any of you this semester. Seeing as I am not even going to be in Omaha until Christmas, I will likely not see any of you until then. Hell, I saw that it was Dave's birthday on Facebook, and I told myself I would not post on his wall because that would be a horrible way to communicate after not talking for a long time. By the way, happy belated birthday, Dave. The thought never crossed my mind to come to this site and wish it here.

Anyway, I know you all too well to have you guys slip away like this. Certainly everybody is creating a new personality for himself or herself, but don't forget the old one that would log into CR a minimum number of thrice daily. In whatever ways you guys go, though, I hope you can feel good about the direction.

As for me, I have been studying probably 30 hours a week outside classes and it has been getting very repetetive. The journey toward success can be very mundane. I'm sure you all know this though.

I just hope everybody is doing well and best of wishes on your pursuits. I also hope the CR crew as an entity in itself is not dead.

I dont know why it has been dead lately
but it is not dead as an entity
hell yes we are still here dude
I am always trying to think up of things to cook up
plus internet season is coming up
I am glad that you are getting stuff done, be it mundane

i'm not dead at all. but i was thinking about how now-a-days i am only in contact with omahans through facebook and sporatic instant messaging. I guess I have been around omahans with fall breaks and stuff, but there is still a feeling of a slipping of communication. I feel like nobody cares about blogs anymore because we are no longer high energy high schoolers doing something goofy to report about every other night. In wandyteeth's place I have been giving facebook much more attention.
