Here is a tale that should make you never want to drink (cheap whiskey) excessively ever again.
It was a wednesday night worth celebrating. I had just finished my Calc Midterm, and I was ready to let the weekend start, so James, Andrew and I went in on a handle of the cheapest whiskey we could find. The cheapest whiskey we could find just so happened to be Robert Evans Whiskey (aka the grossest shit ever). When the clock struck 9:30, we took our first shot. At the instant it hit our tongue, we knew we were going to have a very rough night. After three shots, we were feelin' it a lot more than we should have. It was bizarre.
After a relatively small amount of alcohol, everybody was nearly gone. The last thing i can remember is walking into the room that was our drinking venue, seeing our RA, and taking another shot.
The next thing I know, it's 8:30 in the morning, I'm still not completely sober, and I'm on someone else's futon. I felt my eyes to see if I had fallen asleep in my contacts, but I had changed into my glasses.
I returned to my room to go to sleep, and I woke up at 11:30 with the biggest hangover of my life and I just noticed that my legs had been partially shaved.
It was a rough night and an even rougher morning/afternoon/early evening, but I learned my lesson. Never, not even in dire circumstances, should anyone with a beating heart drink the vile, disgusting poison that is Robert Evans whiskey.
P.S. One of my friends, Eric, was duct taped to a futon after passing out and should be featured on collegehumor.com sometime soon.

i once had my legs partially shaved, but it was due to sleep and not massive amounts of alcohol.

Posted by: at October 22, 2004 1:11 AMhm, i'm wondering who captain anonymous is/are, but to the second comment, i have to say, there are better things, but drinking is fun in it's own right, especially when done in slightly more moderation than this blog expressed. In college, though, drinking is a very social thing, and so is getting buzzed (or drunk). I would guess that you have not drank or drank with a good group of people because that is the same opinion I had of drinking before i did it. That, or you are an adult reading my blog.
As far as the rest of the combatrhino community is concerned, it turns out shaving my legs wasn't the only thing I forgot. The real name of the whiskey I was drinking was Evan Williams, not Robert Evans.
