
It is not rare that educational disciplines cross paths; the hierchical nature of the "liberal arts and sciences" implies that there should be some sort of homoplasy between any two studies.
I have been enrolled in the class "Existentialism and the Absurd," taught in French, which has thus far concerned Jean-Paul Sartre (and other existentialists). In parallel, I have been working on a film project involving Jean-Claude Van Damme (and other action stars).
