knick knack

My residency in the self-perpetuating, virtual hang zone I have up until now temporarily created for myself is about to experience "commencement," as it might be euphemized. The time has been fruitful; it is an odd luxury to spend time away from the demands of creative production. Another unexpected effect has been that of reducing my internet duties to those of that curious and inactive brand of internet user, the "email-checker," closely related to the likes of the myspace checker and the facebook checker.

but now I am ready for a triumphant return, hopefully at the same breakneck pace of creation. Just now I have used an unlined piece of paper (back to my roots! I am back, roots, hello) to define and list all those fogs of ideas which I have been sitting on, some for months, some only days.

I would list them here, but I think that too often my blogs, and blogs in general, are used as e-promises (if used at all). There is never any return, therefore a return is never expected. Sort of like an RSVP sent to the unattainable class babe, or letters written to Santa Claus. Sometimes maybe you will receive an autographed photo of Bill Clinton, as my mother did involuntarily, but usually it is all only questionably there.

But no longer! Heretofore I will blog events, not e-vents (if you can dig this). I have also made the unusual constraint of completing one of these ideas each week. Quite different from my renunciation of renunciations nearly one year ago! All this will be in addition to the singularity of creation already in full force, creating even more new projects every day.

It is a good time, and it has been a good time. "a life you love," is a quote I still stick by. Keep it real, and I will try to, too.
