January 3, 2008: best photos of 2007

Best of 2007

Sometimes I sincerely wish that we could change the year-end reflection system to something more frequent; I would love to devour quarterly summations, and it strikes me that it would prove beneficial on the whole.

A lot of publications and things do best of months or best of seasons, but the pull of a year's end is simply too strong to not try to curate things annually, even though I've found this system is biased heavily in favor of things that happened in the Fall and Winter, when memory is less hazy.

I try not to do resolutions, but if I did, a sure one would be to take more pictures. I just need to get in the habit of traveling with a camera again.

I've considered just blogging every 3 months to give people a good idea of whats going on in my life. Then I realize thats what facebook is for.

well that was a good crop this year but it raises many questions.

1. what the FUCK is going on in that first picture?

2. why is your sis bodacious? and by bodacious i mean blonde and kind of a cutie.

3. is the picture with eli(?) him with that cousin who is perfect? because eli's beard wins.

4. the cat picture is the best.

that's not a question but it is what i sincerely believe.

the answer is pics every day. I just bought some old spice deodorant today. I like the one with all the film cans. Id be interested to know what you think about the emo dude who did the 4 years of facepics. Is that project legit or is it held up by the music?

oh yeah, and you stalled the dare game. Rob dared you to make a rap song. How hard is that? I'll even offer lyrics:

Tuesdays when you meet me at the club.
Tuesdays when you meet me at the club.
I'm a lion and youze a tiger cub.
Tuesdays when you meet me at the club.

I was walking to class today and I saw two interesting T-shirts. They were both worn by big black guys. One shirt was black and said "Racism" and the other shirt was white and said "Fuc you k." What is up with that, Jeff?

ready for best of 2008?
