October 7, 2005: to be fed

I recently passed my 19th birthday, with some fanfare, mostly digital. What I did do was fun, and I had a wonderful cake made by friends, whose frosting text inadvertently predicted my death at age 39. That blog will have to wait a while I guess.

Two other significant events have passed recently. A revue, shall we?

Significantly, I washed a load of my laundry with an inky pen in it. The great clothes disaster of late 2005, not dissimilar to that of early 2005. Now on all of my shorts and some of my good shirts I have written testament to the staying power of pen ink (and reason to buy some new clothes or something). I still hate pencils

An event a long time in coming passed the day after my birthday, which is to say I went to a beck concert. this significance of this is hard to grasp even afterwards, but it was fantastic.
he played nearly every song that should have been played, but I am not choosy since I like them all.

did you know my favorite song of all time is "Where it's At"?

There were a billion genius moments; during the song Clap Hands, the band played kitchen utensils at a dinner table.

it was a jamboree of immense proportions. I can now die happy. and I am not abashed of my hero worshiping.
