it is hallo halloween but it feels completely over after this weekend's festivities so i'm just going to watch slither and maybe 28 days later with friend and do some pumpkin carving!
while at virgin buying said films, i also looked around for like hours for cds. many i didn't think i should buy but then i remembered chris bell! off the flaming lips late nite tales comp that joel sent me awhile ago.
he was from the band big star who did an awesome song called thirteen which elliott smith covered fantabulously (may he rest in peace). chris bell, i think after splitting from big star or after they broke up (wikipedia that shit), bell went on a solo romp and recorded several songs before dying young. the tracks were then compiled as 'we are the cosmos'.
i bought 'we are the cosmos'. i hope it will satisfy my lust for a complete album and i believe it will. in short, 'we are the cosmos' is all i'm going to listen to for the next few days. hooray!
south park is hilarious.
basketball season starts tomorrow.
banana hammocks forever!
luv,

i have been feeling restless lately. maybe it is because i spend too much time not doing things i should be doing or things i could be doing. thusly, i'm going to limit myself to, oh i don't know, two hours of internet per day.
so now i can watch lots of south park! and read and stuff too i guess.
motivated kids scare the shit out of me. yesterday i hung up postcards of ace frehley, paul stanley and gene simmons in all their glory. i don't know why. kiss doesn't really do it for me even.
pavement wow out on november 7th. halloween tomorrow. i'm going to carve my pumpkin tonight and think of you.

emblems and jockstraps! i hope everyone is doing ok. today erica hart called me and we had a nice talk where i was mean to her but she knew that i didn't TOTALLY mean it.
hanging with tom windle this weekend was fun. debauchery amongst friends is always a plus.
today i trimmed my pubes (just a few minutes ago actually) and got to thinking why it makes me so sad when i do this and how come girls don't seem to have a strong attachment to their hairs below. pubes come as a form of, well, puberty and that is a special time in the life of a boy. it is when he becomes a man sexually and becomes even more perverted/immature. so when i cut off my pubes, it is like cutting off years of work and attachment. or maybe i'm just a weirdo.
borat in less than a week!

aloha bangswoft bangkok. tonite is halloween festivity nite but i really have no desire to go to any of the festivities. but i guess i willll anyways. mostly because the copies of a better tomorrow and violent cop i got were t0t messed up.
i am down for a pumpkin carving contest a la wandyteeth but i forgot my digital camera transfer cord.
. so maybe next year. or just later for no apparent reason. sigh.
four days and going strong! hooray! tralalalalala. maybs i will have pictures of costume up later if i can find the right ingredients. otherwise i'm just going to wear a dress. wonk.
luv you all for more than yo bodies.

ughhhhhh so long days will be hard to remember the blog frog. julie c how is your eating morgan spurlock going? i hope deliciously. fallllllll is here! nebraska is playing tomorrow! the nba starts soon! halloween means lots of freaks.
and pumpkin carving.
tom windle is in new york city and i am going to hang with him tomorrow afternoon. any suggestions of what we could do? contrary to popular belief, i have no idea what there is to do in new york really. actually, i don't think that's popular belief anyways.
john woo is goofy.

holy ballsac! i almost forgot to blog todaaaaay and might forget tomorrow if i just pass the fuck out. i can't let that happen though! i hope everything is well with everyone. the weather here is pretty groovy. like that crisp biting cold that's still warm inside its heart.
i watched three kings yesterday for the first time and it has jumped up to top war movie of the ones i've seen. not only does it have mark wahlberg, but it has RELATIVITY to today's situation. hooray!
going to watch once a thief and better luck tomorrow (fully) soon and i am t0t excited. fantasy basketball in less than a week, fuck yeah. halloween with no plans so maybe i'll just eat lots of chocolate and then pee my pants.
you all make my stomach tingle something mighty.

shoe shopping is fun. so is all shopping. not having the hundreds of dollars to buy these things is not.
what is your favorite type of cookie? the past month or so, i have had two oatmeal raisin cookies a week with the exception of a switch-up every now and then but they really do rule.
i kind of have to poop. tim and joel, i am checking out the gorillaz albums per your suggestions. and also, the pigeon john rapper i was talking about from yesterday, pretty good. and he has some guy from omaha in his crew! when he came on rapping about playing bball on rogers court or something in omaha i was like almost cutting myself with the splicer.
blizzards!
luv,
jason c
corrections: pigeon john IS from omaha! holy shit.
In response to Dave's observation: Aw that fuckin Spurlock. I'm telling you, that experiment wasn't even fair. I could EASILY put down McDonald's every meal. The error is his having decided to order a meal each time AND Super Size it and drink pop with it. Now wtf do you expect? You do that at any restaurant you're gonna end up being pretty fucking sick.
But onto the blog. In order to avoid litigious action from Mr. Spurlock and Co. (as if that would actually happen and if it did, cool, that moustachioed motherfucker), I'll pump this up to...THIRTY TWO DAYS! Is anyone with me? Huh? Huh?
Just bought Inches by Les Savy Fav and Paper Television by the Blow and got this rap album by a guy named Pigeon John. Don't know if he's any good yet.
I can't wait for the NBA season to start. There has not been a serious fantasy league in my life for nearly three years. Horrendous. I'M COMING FOR YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!
Luv,

yooooooooo! a conversation with joel went as such:
me: NEW BLOG YOU HAVE. woot.
joel: yea, wandyteeth is laaaagin. hopefully not dying spirits.
me: i'm going on a 30 days of insanity tour on wandyteeth. 30 straight days of blogs.
i hope i can keep up with this and hope that some of you other people will join on this wagon. at first, i accidentally typed inanity and perhaps it will become as such but for reals, whatever. inanity in the lives of people who you like/respect is good inanity.
last week i cut my hand in washington square park flipping over the handlebars of this hospital thing. the scar is gonna be shaped like a heart i think. pretty cool. fake moustaches are cool too. and so are you.
on a whim and beacuse of my desire for new muzak and based on tim's rec of the alligator, i got a last.fm account. it is being kind of screwy and not reading some of my shit but for the most part, pretty cool program.
not from last.fm but from just random memory jogs and looking around online and amazon and checking out the national further, found some other good stuff and this has been muy bueno. i.e. the mountain goats (all hail west texas! 'best ever death metal band from denton', 'the mess inside', 'fall of the star high school running back') slick muthafuckin rick (4 real) and i've gotten back into some guided by voices.
pavement's wowee zowee is being reissued in november. if you preorder at certain record stores you get a 7" and another cd for free. i've never owned a 7". pretty excited. HOMER'S is part of the deal for those of you in omaha.
so 30 days it is. luv.

eeeeeeeee! it has been awhile since blogging, i hope everyone is well. tim, don't be too disheartened about the colding. it is getting pretty wacky over here too and i am looking forward to seeing some more of your painty waintys. in other news, my roommate got me hip to this site www.netvibes.com which you probs all already know about but if not, just in case, it is pretty cool.
SEEING THE DEPARTED TODAY, hopefully. i'm pretty excited. everyone who has seen it says that it rocked their mouths but it makes me sad that few people know it's a remake. so is the system, i suppose.
i've been looking for some new music to get me by toooo so if anyone has any suggestions, hitttttt me. i have been relying on listening to random party shuffle (sans party), some top-rated shuffle stuff and fugazi i haven't heard.
ps they are/have rereleasing/rereleased kmd's seminal awesome album 'mr. hood' (mf doom pre mf doom, his brother and someone else) and also THE BLOW'S album paper television is coming out. i'm excited. unless it has stupid songs that sound like the faint with a girl singing mixed with bad cure. blang!
heard back from merge records on ghosting demo. they said they didn't know when or if they'd listen to it but they have my address! hurrah!
i luv you all.
luv,
jason c
