i don't know if this can continue (re: 366 days of blogging). i have fallen short too many times and even if i do complete it, the feat would require an asterisk. wack. a final decision and explanation to come in tha next blog, whenever that may be.

yozone. tim, sirens of titan is probably my fave book ever or at least my stock and standard answer. i've read a few lately that are challenging. jayme, i'll def cheq that out but i am the opposite of jefe in the regard that i am a fiction sans non-fiction reader.
anyone here into murakami or t.c. boyle? two recentszz. i didn't want to jump on the murakami train but lo and behold, it's a pretty nice train.
been writing lots of short stories lately for classez (faire). will post them intermittently i suppose. to catch up on this wild and wacky blogging schedule.

this is why
i do not go to hardcore shows. gallows was awesome but the meatheads were not. one of their opening bands out of long island was really awful. like really bad. not only were they the goofiest looking band i've seen in a long time (like think mxpx's bassist x 4) and their lead singer came out like minutes after the music as if he was freddy mercury reincarnate.
they did provide one good moment though when one of their guitarists suggested for the crowd to, well, surf and someone in the back yelled out 'no!'. genius. then the same guitarist went on to talk about how hardcore kids can't relate to the world so they go to shows to relate...
and so i went downstairs because i couldn't deal with the wack-osity going on. jockcore is hell. jockcore is shit.

am i fucked??
i don't know if my quest is still valid. it has been days and days and then i'll make it up and make it up. well, i'm going to go see a band that will blow your guts through your asshole tonite: gallows. tell you all how it goes!! and if they come to an area around you, go see them. they won't actually blow your guts through your asshole. for serious.
