Anybody into twitter?
Wow, I feel like I haven't seen or heard from anyone in these parts forever. Probably because I haven't. Seeing Jeff S, however briefly, last weekend made me think I ought to get on here and check in on what everyone is up to these days.
Like Joel, I graduated a couple of weeks ago, which was a surreal experience to say the least. Four years flew by too fast, and I'm not sure I'm quite ready to enter adulthood just yet.
Post-graduation plans have been pretty set for the last few months. After accepting a position with the world's largest software company, I decided that Fargo, ND wasn't where I wanted to live, and ERP software wasn't what I wanted to work on. So, I backed out and transitioned from my role as an intern at Agile Sports into a full-time position. We do all sorts of cool stuff with software for NFL and college football teams, and are working to bring on some sweet partners. We also have an awesome start-up atmosphere (I'm full-timer #10 or 11) that makes everyday a joy.
So, I'll be sticking around Lincoln for the time being, and have a badass place in the Haymarket (a block from work!). If anyone is ever in Lincoln and wants to hang out or needs a place to crash, I'll be here.
I'm not sure what I'll be doing with this space in the near future. I'm putting together a list of post-graduation goals. One is to run as much as I did in high school (something I've neglected for the last four years). I've already gotten started, and am running far more than I drive every week. The second goal is to read some piece of legitimate for pleasure at least an hour a day. And really, I'd like to write more, but I'm not sure I have that much that's worth writing about.
We'll see what happens.
