After a ton of messing around, I finally got my mp3 player up...something I've wanted to do for a long time. Two songs are up right now, The Hold Steady song has been one of my faves recently and Jack's Mannequin is just delicious.

I've decided I need to start reading more blogs on this site and commenting more. I think part of the reason I don't write much is that I expect people to comment, and I can't expect people to comment if I don't do the same.
Pitchfork usually pisses me off, but for some reason I checked out their Top 100 Tracks of 2006 and was turned on by the Hold Steady's Stuck Between Stations (it's #11 on the list). I've known of the bands existence for quite some time and only now listened to them. Their album Boys and Girls in America is ridiculously awesome.
