jfk

Thanks to a friend I downloaded JFK Reloaded today. I can't pull myself away from this game, as horrible as I know it is. There are just too many entertaining scenarios to play out and so many Secret Service agents to kill.

I landed what seems to be a really solid Design Studio team and project. I'll post more about that later, if possible (I have to review the terms of the non-disclosure agreement I signed).

rolling along

The first week of classes is officially over, and the jury is still out on whether or not I'm going to like this whole Tuesday/Thursday only thing. It's nice to have a 4 day weekend every weekend, but days with class are a bit tough.

Tomorrow is the Day of Reckoning...Design Studio teams (clients and team members) are announced.

bearded dragon

I was sitting at my desk with nothing to do this morning other than wait for meetings and was propositioned by Adam, an intern, to go hang out in the restaurant we've got here. I took the offer and we met up with Jeff, another intern here. Upon arriving, I was informed that Jeff had brought his bearded dragon to work. I can easily say as I write this entry on my laptop in a padded booth with a lizard sitting right next to me that this is the greatest day of work...ever.

In other happenings, my roommates and I had a great time last night at Beermann's house. He invited us over for tacos and Guitar Hero. We also managed to play some Karaoke Revolution, which, if somehow combined with the Guitar Hero concept, might just be the greatest video game of all time.

Six more days of work...
