i don't want to make you sway

Wow, I'm in the middle of my first all-nighter in my college career, and I'm afraid there will be more. I guess I only have myself, procrastination and poorly designed programming assignments to blame.

Last night I saw the Perishers and Aqualung play in Omaha. That was pretty tight.

My writing becomes more pointless as the night drags on.

A week from yesterday the new Coheed CD comes out. You should buy it. For serious.

My nipples aren't pierced.

and baby don't follow their lead

I'm curious as to whether or not the high school Facebook is popular at Westside...

The third season of the O.C. starts tomorrow night and I've already got the premiere episode on my computer, but can't bring myself to watch it. It seemed like a good idea while downloading, but now it just seems so dirty. I did send it to Joel for viewing though. I hope it's spectacular, I've been waiting for months.

and today was a day just like any other

The school year is two weeks deep and there hasn't been any massive homework yet. I guess we're supposed to start coding a massive inventory forecasting and management system, or something like that sooner or later. My soul is already being sucked out of my body just thinking about it.

And as you can tell, Club 203 is hopping in Kauffman. In hardly any time at all Brinkman and I's room(s) has become the commons for a lot of people. I like it. I like it a lot. I'll put some pictures up if I ever get ahold of a digital camera. On a side note: if anyone is ever in Lincoln and wants to hang out, or just flat out wants to come here to chill, we've got a futon and an open door policy. Joel has already taken advantage.

Oh, and I guess Bill Gates is speaking to UNL business students with Warren Buffett at the end of the month. That should be awesome. Even more awesome is the fact that he's coming to the building where I live/go to class to speak to the 80 or so students in the J.D. Edwards program. I'll try and think of the most embarassing thing I can do while he's here, then do it. Leave suggestions if you've got 'em.

New music in the sidebar. It's some new Coheed, Jack's Mannequin (side project of Andrew McMahon...best 9 dollars I've spent in a long, long time) and a band few have heard of called This Is Me Smiling. Enjoy.
