i've got ten friends and a crowbar

This weekend was the weekend to end all weekends. First off, the Coheed and Cambria and Underoath concert was off the heezy. The venue, which was roughly twice the size of Omaha's Ranch Bowl, sold out. It was as hot and as packed as any show I've been to and rocked from start to finish. Picture time...

Rob and I are incredibly hot, regardless of temperature.

A cool photo thanks to extended shutter speed.

After the show Rob and I met up with Samara and her Rockhurst crew. It was late, we were sore, we were tired, but we stayed up until 3 anyways. An impromptu slumber party was formed in the lobby of her building.

Anyways...we drove back to Lincoln. Fairly low-key until Sunday. Then Belfi and Lindizzle showed up for about an hour or so, which was a beautiful break in the monotony. Shortly thereafter Lena and Jackie showed up for an afternoon of thrifting.

I picked up a sweet ass USA Steak Buffet and green polo. I think the green one is a girl's because the buttons are on the other side. Whatever...I wear it with pride.

Straylight Run is playing this weekend in Des Moines and you can bet your bippy I'll be in attendance. Oh, and Lincoln looks to have some awesome weather this week:

And I'm....

out.

5 beats per 6 steps on alternating feet

Just sitting in my room right now, Husker game is in the fourth quarter and this place is an effing tomb. Everyone is either at the game or home for fall break and I'm in my room blasting music as loud as I can, because I'm cool like that.

Anyways, I went to Rent and Wednesday night was incredible with jaw dropping singers and performers. I knew I had to go again, so I rushed for tickets Thursday morning and got a couple of seats for 20 bucks a piece. Two seats for Rent, front-row, dead center, just an awesome experience.

Last night we partied Kauffman style which was just plain sad. Here's the crew I was able to get pictures of...

Troy, a Sigma Nu

Matt, Brinkman's roommate.

Duh.

Mike, my neighbor.

If anyone watches Crossfire (I don't think anyone under the age of 40 does) Jon Stewart ripped the hosts of the shows about 14 new assholes, in hilarious and badass fashion. Here's the transcript and the video.

some memories often not quite remembered

It's that time of the month again...the time where I'm a little less busy than normal and decide to write a blog.

Not much is new here in Lincoln, I just cleaned and vacuumed my room because I'm a huge girl and almost enjoy that type of thing. My half of the room is now spotless and I love it.

Room 326 has been lonely as of late. My roommate has found himself a woman here in Lincoln and so he's not hanging around the room so much...he returned from shenanigans at 6:30 this morning which is just cahrazy. Good for him.

Tonight Every Time I Die is playing in Omaha and I'm not there. The last time I saw them, back in May, they were spectacular and I'm sad I can't be there again.

Rent is going to be in Lincoln Wednesday and Thursday and I'm going to be there. I can't wait.

Brinkman and I were going to get the big shocker hand, but they're 15 bucks. Boooo.

Today, I ate three meals in as many hours...and that's all I've got.

zing!

I got a card today from Katie, a girl in my PoliSci class who also lives in Kauffman. Check out this politcally charged birthday greeting:

ZING!
