I can't say what I feel with words.
The MRI results came back and...no stress fracture! Woot woot. I'm just going to have to take it easy to not provoke future stress-related injury. Let's celebrate the good news with a picture:

That's the dong many copies were made of. I'm not so sure why the bullet is there, I'll leave it to Little Shaffer to answer that question.
Meet time. I'll be sitting this one out, but watch out biznatches, because I'll be back soon.
Mmm...it's spring, can't you tell by the new CombatRhino design? Yummy. The spring makes me sad though because I want to run so bad but I can't. If it weren't for the terrible consequences, I'd sell my soul to Satan for the chance to run again this season. Hopefully Monday's MRI won't be depressing.
On the subject of running, Joel rocked the mile and the 800 in his first track races ever. Booyah! And my name should be in the paper today for returning state meet qualifiers. As usual though, Hutchinson screwed up...so yeah, I'm not in there.
Friday night and there's nothing going on here. I want to watch Lost in Translation but Bobby's got my copy. That slut...maybe I'll watch Newsies. Whatev.
The copy machine at school was broken so I made nearly 200 copies of a picture of a wang shooting a bullet (courtesy Em. Shaffer). I'll put a picture of it up if I can, because it's a hilarious, at least to me.
Track has brought me yet another injury. My ankle is hurting hella-bad, but I found out it's not a huge bone break. The possibility remains of a stress fracture which would be season-ending and sad, more likely than not though, that won't be the case.
I've decided I'm going to UNL next year. Why? The JD Edwards program is really cool and worth giving a try to for a year...especially since it costs a total of zero dollars. Lincoln, here I come.
Dave J wins my 'Best Blog In Recent Weeks' award. He keeps me reading his terribly long blogs because most everything is interesting, or at least well-written. Well done Dave.
New song if I get done with homework early on this evening. I know you all can't wait.
We won our last competition. All of us got Olympic-style medals and Sutherland, West and I got trophy duty so that was cool. We cleaned up w/ Best Vocals, Best Choreography, Best Female soloist, we won our division and we won overall. We should've won best band, but our keyboard player was with the symphony this weekend so we were ineligible. In short: it was a slaughter.
A lot of people cried this weekend. A lot of people. I always feel awkward in situations like this, because as much as I like show choir (which is a lot), it's not worth shedding tears to me. Maybe I'm a heartless jerk. Whoops, no I'm not.
The Rainbow Rowell article came out. My dad was mentioned inadvertently since he won the first Supermouth contest back in good old nineteen-eightysomething. It was actually a decent article, it brought back nostalgic memories of Sweet 98, because that's what I grew up on in elementary school.
My last show choir competition of high school is tomorrow. It's a little bit sad. Wait for it...wait for it...OK now i'm over it.
On a school related note...high school is almost over for seniors. In fact, it's so close they've put it on the Unit Syllabus in European History. It's getting to me because I honestly considered skipping Calculus large group to go watch basketball games at a restaurant.
So that Rainbow Rowell chick just called my house for my dad. I asked what it was about and she said they were looking for some of the original DJ's on the now-defunct Sweet 98. Maybe she'll write a good article for once.

What did I do all day today? Slept. And downloaded about two hours of Chappelle Show material. I had only seen short clips before, but I've now decided this show is worth my time.
Jeff, is there going to be a Survivor-style blog contest? There should be.
I'm going to kill 90% of Simply Irresistable. Greg said it best with, "Which one of you chicks wants to make me a sandwich? What? You don't want to do that? Oh I've got plenty of laundry that needs to be done too." I'm not an oppressor of women, but most of these girls earned their verbal abuse.
The trip wasn't too awful though, except that I'm in the same boat with Joel being sick. I spent most of Saturday in and out of Codeine-induced sleep on a classroom floor with a couple of performances in-between.
Blah.
Chicago. Tomorrow. I'm on a bus with a billion chicks and ten guys. It'll be loud and annoying, because it's mostly stereotypical show choir girls, not regular cool-type girls. But I'll have music playing and my mind pondering. Pondering what? Yet to be decided. Maybe I'll be thinking of you. (Très emo paragraph.)
Newsies. I need to watch this movie. It made me sad to see only one song on Tuesday. :(
I despise being sick during running season. Sickness = slow running. Away sickness, away!
Intersession is here. My grades are better than I thought they'd be. Mom and Dad like that. I like that. Woot...everyone's happy. One mothertruckin' quarter left and then school is over. Let's make this the most fun quarter ever.
Dave J. and I are filiming a Brit Lit video today. I'm playing a greasy, euro-trashy image consultant. Samara is supposed to be in the video too, but if she's sick Joel's gonna wear a wig. I hope she's sick...
Zoolander is perhaps the funniest movie ever.
Here are a couple of pics from Total Domination weekend.

My last few blogs have been pictoral which is exciting, I think. Anyways...we won Lewis Central for the third year in a row which is mighty cool. I've got pictures from the event, I'll put them up later because I'm too lazy do it right now.
Track is shaping up to be mighty interesting. In addition to the shit we're putting up with regarding the actual track we've got some a little competition for our soon-to-be glorious 4x800 relay.

The MCS show was awesome. Crowd surfed twice and went all out for forty-five minutes while they played their entire CD. I was in heaven. Oh yeah, I got a drumstick from the show autrographed by their sweet drummer above and met their godly singer below. They'll be in Nebraska again in three weeks...I just might have to go.

I beat Erik in arm wrestling today. Woo.
Track has officially started. Our track is gone as you may or may not know, so we have to go other places to run. Dr. Reznicek (athletic director, pictured below) is a douchebag and screwed up our deal w/ UNO so now we run at good old WMS for the time being. I guarantee this jazz wouldn't go down if we were the football team. Expect continued venting on the subject because I'm hella-peeved.
