yikes

I got my glasses today, I think I look like a dork.

I lost my entire CD collection. It sucks big dong.

Tomorrow is my birthday. No big plans really, although I think I'm going to go buy cigarettes just to buy cigarettes. No intention of smoking them, I'll merely be flexing the power that age brings.

splish splash

I'm completely addicted to Chinese food. I eat it at least twice a week now. I also would like to make the declaration that I can eat more crab rangoons in one sitting than any other human being on the face of the planet. Even Chinese people.

It's so cold outside...it's good for everything but running, and even then it's not that bad.

September 28, 2003

good god you drive me crazy

Song you should download: Rapunzel by DMB (It's cooler than most DMB, give it a shot.)

So the homecoming thing was pretty terrible. Actually, only the DJ was terrible, everything else was cool. Plus two non-douchebags won homecoming queen and king. Sympathies to Drew who didn't win...he was one of the few candidates who wasn't a douchebag.

More sympathies to Bone 2.0. *Cough**bad*Cough*timing*Cough*Cough* Excuse me, I've got a cold.

I updated my blog site to only include blogs from the last half of September, but all past blogs are viewable in monthly archive for your reading pleasure. Once October hits, you'll only be able to see what's been written in October, but September will be archived. Dig?

I've been up for the last 21 hours, it's time to get some rest.

September 27, 2003

cubs win! cubs win!

The Chicago Cubs just clinched the NL Central. The moment of the game ended, a Bone household dance party broke out.

Yeah...so Homecoming is in like 30 minutes. I suppose I should get dressed or something.

September 26, 2003

you're blind to it all

Went to the eye doctor and it does turn out that I need glasses. I was worried about my glasses and how nerdy they might look. Have no fear though, I went to Robert Max w/ Steve Kinkead and picked up some stylin' frames.

Feel free to call me four-eyes.

September 25, 2003

rip, rap, a rippety rap rap

Cross country float tomorrow should get dead last in our competition at school. It's going to be real un-decorated. Should be better than that gay golf-cart Boobs chose to drive instead of being w/ the team.

Berkshire has a voice-activated cell-phone in his Trailblazer. It...is...awesome.

I enjoy typing in Microsoft Word for French. The spell check goes cahrazy...

September 24, 2003

i made you say underwear

Due to Kristin's infatuation with what goes on below my belt (sorry Boobs), I will explain why I don't wear underwear. It pretty much just started sophomore year when Pat Cash declared a Thursday "No Underwear Day." I went along with it and got hooked. This lifestyle decision has led to many comedic moments, more than I can count, and way too many to share in this forum.

I ate more food than my stomach could handle tonight. I'm having a tough time keeping it down. Next blog I'll post a picture of the massive taco bar my bro and I tried to defeat.

September 23, 2003

music low

Our French teacher was gone again today so we had a sub. And boy was it funny, it was the nervous-breakdown sub again.

Volleyball game Thursday night at Millard West. Be there, it's a themed game. We're doing Hawaiian gear which should prove to be exciting...or something.

My blogs have been shorter as of late. I'll type more when I've got more content and time isn't at a premium.

September 22, 2003

tv show, tv show

I was very impressed with Andy Berkshire's work on the new Warrior Element show. He totally made it worth watching. The rest of it was crap, including J-Sizzy's story due to horrible audio. The visuals were funny but I couldn't understand a word being said. Plus I was snubbed out of the XC story. I was featured in the Lance twice, that's cool if you ask me.

You know what made my day today? After our 500's workout for XC, we had a mile jog back to the school and Rob Moore drove next to my bro and I the entire way while we chatted.

September 21, 2003

and an air guitar rockin'

I have decided that by the time I die I want to be one of two things:

1. A badass. Something along the lines of Samuel L. Jackson or Harrison Ford would suffice.

2. A rock star. Rock stars are suhweet and some are badasses too (i.e. Dave Grohl)

September 20, 2003

keep on runnin'

So at the football game my bro, Friesen, Stone, Annin and I stripped down to our cross country uniforms and raced around the track. I guess a lot of people saw this.

Two funny side notes to that story:

1. Some douchebags from Norfolk (the team we were playing in football) started shouting obscene things at us and all I could say was "I just beat your entire cross country team at your own invite..."

2. Boobs was going to run but didn't because he was worried about the colleges he was applying to finding out if we got in trouble. When he told us that, the entire team laughed. And then laughed some more. I'm still laughing.

September 19, 2003

alright now

Thanks for the 11 comments from people who read this. I shall continue in my blogging endeavors.

Daily planner blogs are starting to get rather annoying and redundant. They can be excused if you actually have exciting events going on or you're emphasizing how little you have going on in your life. But please, let's end the multi-page blogs about simple daily activities. You know who you are, end the madness.

I feel a whole lot better this morning than I did all of yesterday. Yesterday, I sat around and did nothing which felt good for my fatigue but got me ultra-depressed because I had so many other things I could be doing. When I finally got up and did stuff, I didn't want to be doing it because I felt crappy and depressed. It was a catch-22. And I really hate being in an emo-whiney-bad mood. I don't like to share my problems with others and it's tough to cover it up when you feel like absolute shit. But now I'm feeling decent, so it's cool.

Grooming myself recently I noticed that I use the "Official Deodorant of the NBA." I figure I must be using a good deodorant...I've watched the NBA and those guys sweat a ton.

September 18, 2003

it gets me real pissed off and makes me wanna say...

I'm sick. Or so the doctor says. Some virus or something. I guess I can't run an entire season without some sickness coming over me.

I'm going to go curl up into a fetal position.

September 17, 2003

drain out my lungs

I've been feeling really fatigued lately, I think I must be sick. I should probably go to the doctor...

Erik wants to run for prez in 2004. I'd support him if he could actually run, there's that whole age restriction thing holding him back though. You know who really needs to run for president? Tom Carman.

Holy shit, it just hit me. I will be able to vote for the next president.

Poll: If you just read this blog, comment. I need to know more than 4 people read this.

September 16, 2003

change and it's on

Download a song called Super Bon Bon by Soul Coughing. It's weird but rawkin'. Trust me.

There was this weird teacher in French today. She seemed like she was on the verge of breaking down emotionally or mentally. I'd try to recreate it better but I can't. Jeff Sisson knows what I'm talking about, and that's all that matters.

I found a CD I made 3 or 4 years ago. Listening to it was like hopping into a time machine and hanging out with a less cool version of myself which is terribly awkward.

The new Teen Girl Squad sooooooo gooooood. Check it out if you're cool.

frustrated and tired part 2

I got my shit rocked like it hasn't been rocked in three years. Damn. Worst race ever.

On a lighter note, Joe Dunn showed up w/ some Cross Country Super Fans.

I think I'm going to go collapse and not get up for a long time. Maybe.

frustrated and tired

I just finished my Comp intro. This class huffs dong like dong has never been huffed before.

So I talked a long time ago where I thought we saw a dead body by AMC. I went to show Jerkshire the spot last night @ 1:30 when a rent-a-cop came up and bothered us. He asked us what we were doing. And Jerkshire almost said "He was just showing me where a dead body was."

Seriously, if you're not doing anything Monday afternoon hasn't passed, go to Seymour Smith Park and cheer the XC team on. Sophomores @ 5, Juniors @ 5:30, Seniors @ 6:00. Call my cell phone if you need more details.

September 14, 2003

i'm so tired but i can't sleep

Nothing right now is worthy of my blog.

September 12, 2003

there's so much on my mind

El Jefe mentioned that he and Erik discussed flash mobs. If you don't know what they are, look it up or something. But trust me, they're cool. Tell El Jefe you're interested and the community can brainstorm ideas or something.

What are you doing Monday afternoon? Nothing is your answer. Come one, come all to Seymour Smith Park (72nd & Harrison) and make some noise for the Westside Running Boys. Talk to me for more info, I know you want to come.

John Ritter died. I was a huge fan of his work in film, mainly Problem Child and Problem Child 2. Seriously though, he was cool dude and the world will miss him.

Churros at Taco John's are off the heezy.

September 11, 2003

rainy day go away

This whole 9/11 remembrance thing is over the top. The media has completely desensitized me to the point where I don't even consider it a significant event anymore.

Bad Boys for Life crew was stylin'. It's a shame J-Sizzy couldn't be in attendance.

Word has spread of my abilities to deep-throat a fork...

Bobby thinks his 6 bee story is good enough to be retold because I was stung by a bee. Tough luck Boobs, use your own damn blog.

I am going to a funeral on Saturday. Depressing.

September 10, 2003

f--- the bull---- it's time to throw down

The meet rocked. Bone 2.0, Fenwick 2.0 and I handed it to every school at the meet except Fremont. It was awesome. Plus I got to chat it up with Natalie Vance and Seth Walker, a couple of old friends from Fremont. Rawk.

I've got not much else to say. Tomorrow should rock. Two rockin' days in a row. Oh man, I'm pumped.

Who likes the two spellings of rock?

we'll make the best of what's around

So I was at the cross country dinner and there were bees everywhere. I made a comment to Jerkshire that I had never been stung by a bee before. 45 minutes later, I'm sitting there eating my food and I start freaking out because of a terrible pain in my elbow. Frickin' bees.

Today is the cross country meet in Fremont. We'll see what happens.

I bought the DMB Live at Red Rocks CD. It's some good tunage, mellow music for my mellow mood yesterday. I can't rock it hard all the time. On the other hand, maybe I can...I am very rock.

September 8, 2003

nothing's going my way

Music I'm listening to that you should check out: Monday Morning - Student Rick

There was this report due in economics today and of course I left it to the last minute. This caused me to be up until midnight last night (my normal, self-imposed bedtime is 9 pm at the latest). Turns out we didn't even get to my report today and I lost sleep over nothing.

The highpoint of my day was Chinese Wednesday on Monday w/ Naimul and Joel. The food was good and the car ride was an NFG partay. Woot.

So Westside is making this promo video to raise money for our 2 million dollar track and field renovation. They're interviewing me because I'm the track guy or something. How cool is that? Maybe not cool at all.

I'm ultra-dehydrated. Looking to fix the problem though, I've had about 100 oz of water in the last 25 minutes.

I turn to you homework and college crud. Gah.

September 7, 2003

all about her

Currently listening to: All About Her - New Found Glory

Hey, I saw that listening to thing in some other blog. I thought it was cool and now I'm using it.

There's a review that is less than kind to John Mayer's new CD in Entertainment Weekly. I took pleasure in reading it.

The retreat was real cool. There two funny and/or cool events that took place that I feel motivated enough to share:

Jeff MC, Tory, Amy and I dressed up and hit up a wedding reception that was happening where we were staying. It was a lot of fun and there was some quality dancing going on right up until the smelly, ex-con security guard kicked us out.

I also punched Jeff MC when he woke me up. Must of been a weird dream...

I think I need a nap.

September 6, 2003

i saw fireworks from the freeway

Amy and I were driving and saw a ton of fireworks going off over the period of an hour or so. We decided to investigate and a dude with huge flashlight told us that the National Fireworks peeps are having their national convention in Omaha, and all the fireworks makers were showing off their products. According to flashlight man it was "bidness."

So this whole church thing is going to take up my entire weekend which kinda sucks. But I am rooming w/ J-Mac which will end up making for anything bad about the weekend. Non-stop partay....

I've still gotta go pack.

September 4, 2003

crossing the country

Wow, what a meet. WHS has an awesome place to start for the rest of the season.

3.5 hours of nothing tomorrow (that means no class those of you who don't know Westside's crazy schedule system). I'm gonna need it, I'm beat.

Cubs took 4 of 5 from the Cards. We're only half a game back on the Astros now. Booyah.

We need to start a petition or letter writing campaign for the Westside parking situation. If you don't know what I'm talking about, read Erik's blog. It's horseshit that we have parking cops and cameras and no one knows who did this.

September 3, 2003

crazy how it feels tonight

So we've got wireless internet in my house now. I'm sitting in my living room typing this. It's pretty cool.

Cross country meet tomorrow, I'm mega pumped. Just got some new spikes to run in and I'm eager to run. We'll see how it goes.

Holy shit...I just looked out my window and there is a spider spinning a web that is seriously 5 inches in diameter. Scary.

Today Bobby tried to diss videogame systems he knew nothing about, saying that 64 was by far the worst Nintendo/videogame system. I told him that 64 had a bunch of sweet games (Mario 64, Super Smash Brothers, Goldeneye...to name only three from a long list) and used cartridges which are cooler than CDs because there is no load time. I also informed him there were worse systems, like Sega Saturn, Sega CD and the infamous Virtual Boy. Opinions? Let's have a videogame discussion.

Sleepy time.

September 2, 2003

slimma slamma jamma

Superfans was nuts. It was totally worth sending out those 50 notices to the club. I'm excited to see what will happen if we get the word out to all 125 members of the club. Wait...two more joined today. That's 127.

I read a blog while blog stalking about two people who call themselves the unofficial cheerleaders of Millard West Reserve Volleyball. Sounds like a superfan to me. I don't think two people could handle our massive and incredibly organized squad though.

The only thing I'm going to say about the intrasquad scrimmage is that I got to referee. It was hella rockin'. Ask me sometime and I'll show you my moves.

I just finished this stupid comp assignement. What a moronic load of busy work. If I didn't like my classmates and teacher so much I think it would drive me to insanity.

i'm ridiculous like that

I woke up at 5 to take care of some volleyball jazz, since the intrasquad scrimmage is this evening. I'm not sure it's worth it at this point.

There's a short colum in the newspaper by L. M. Boyd. You can find it next to the crossword puzzle in the living section. This guy makes his living quoting random facts. I want to be this man's successor when he dies. I'll call it B. A. Bone.

September 1, 2003

this time i'm right

I saw this guy with a TV in his car. He is the reason America is cool. Screw every meaningful thing that ever happened in or because of the U.S. The simple fact that a man can watch TV and drive places at the same time is awesome.

There's this guy, Mike Harvat who opened for Remedy last night. He's real good.

I ran seven miles this morning. I'm not sure why either.
