and the living is easy
Finals wrapped up last Wednesday, and less than 12 hours later, I was laying on a beach with Lena in southern California. A perfect ending to the semester. While in L.A. Lena and I also were able to check out a Fall Out Boy show at a 200-capacity hole-in-the-wall club which was, needless to say, awesome. And thanks to James Stevenson's hospitality and tour guiding, I was able to drag Lena around to a number of L.A./Hollywood locations for the standard tourist sightseeing.
Upon returning from L.A., I headed out to North Carolina for a visit to the TIAA-CREF campus with a few fellow J.D. Edwards students. Immediately after North Carolina, I met up with Lena in Chicago for a Cubs game and other miscellaneous Windy City activities.
I'm now back in Omaha for the foreseeable future, and until work starts next Monday, I plan on being a complete and total pile.
