east london is a vampire
This last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a concert w/ The Audition, Head Automatica and Jack's Mannequin. Seeing Jack's Mannequin was a long time coming for me, as I was supposed to see them back in June of '05 in Chicago, which just happened to be a couple of weeks after the lead singer was diagnosed with cancer. Head Automatica put on the best live show of any of the bunch, they're made up of a surprisingly talented bunch of musicians and Daryl Palumbo is one hell of a front man.
Other random music stuff (because that seems that's all that I post about)...the new Bloc Party CD, A Weekend in the City is really good. I've posted the opening track.

As previously reported on Tims blog...
not as into block part as I once was, and I'm not sure about that fob song either, I think I'll have to listen to the entire cd.

Head Automatica was awesome, but they would have been better if they had turned up the volume.
