Boring Bryant update:

I've been in Omaha for the last week and have pretty much done nothing at all. The last couple of weeks at college were crazy fun and less stressful than imagined and I'm following it up with pure laziness. I finally have my own room in the Bone house for the first time ever and am enjoying it to the fullest extent. It's pretty kickass. I'm getting warmed up for next year I guess.

This morning I woke up to discover that I am indeed keeping my scholarship after a rough first semester, and have a ton of breathing room over the required GPA. High-five to self for at least one more free year...

Blockbuster has this deal where you can rent unlimited movies, so I'm into that now. It's my goal to watch at least 30-40 movies in the next few months.

In music related news...Days Away is a cool mellow band with a helluva lotta talent. Look 'em up or steal their new CD Mapping an Invisible World. They are cool.

impressive keeping the scholarship. my gpa this year resembled my gpa freshman year of high school.
i saw louis the XIV on Conan and the lead singer is very very weird looking.

i too managed to avoid loss o' money. its a good feeling.

Congrats, Bone!

I don't know how to feel about single rooms? for absolutely no rational reason

and good job with grades

well it's not exactly a single room, it's two people living in a "room" with two 10' x 14' rooms and a bathroom/sink/shower.

check out the floor plan here.

everyone already said what i wanted to say.

free college is cool

It's very similar to courtyards, although we get kitchens. See our groundplan here.

ahh yes karl, but we've got a meal plan and you still have to pay.

snapped!

i will join the keeping money club

I am in the "whoops, my first semester was really bad, and I have to do really well in the upcoming semesters to stay in school" club with Joel.
