as young as i was, i felt older back then
During the last week I think I've pinpointed my college dilemma. In high school we (or at least I) did relatively little work for the success we achieved. Our small amount of effort produced excellent test scores and impressive GPA's that earned a lot of us high-paying scholarships or admittance to prestigious universities. The problem is though, that I didn't do much to get to where I am, and now suddenly I've got to do actual work to keep college free. And boy do I hate work. The struggle continues...
Speaking of college, check out my schedule for next semester:

I'm going to enjoy those 11:30 days a lot.
Everyone seems to be visiting high school again. I refuse to. The motivation for a lot of people seems to be getting to have the question of "How is college?" asked and answering with the typical "Oh good! I'm having a ton of fun." At least that's how it was whenever people visited during my stay there.
Last week I ran a 6 mile race after maybe running six miles in two weeks. It was a ton of fun and pain. Plus I rocked like 3,200 people and got to hang out with this guy:

Seinfeld comes out on DVD today I'll have to see about getting that.
I'm out like a boner in sweatpants.

Agreement on the effort and the grades you receive in college. Work sucks

It's so true. Everyone congratulates you over and over again for your "big achievements" in high school, and you may have even thought, "hey, I kinda rule!" But we didn't do shit. I remember I freaked out when I had to study for the Calc AP test for like, more than one hour. We were so clueless...
